Gyeonggi Province Aims to Raise Public Awareness and Build Consensus on Northern Gyeonggi Development
Through Online Promotional Activities
Gyeonggi Province announced on January 19 that it will publicly recruit the second cohort of "Northern Gyeonggi Youth Supporters" from January 19 to February 1, aiming to raise public awareness about the development of Northern Gyeonggi and promote its necessity.
The recruitment will select approximately 50 participants. Any young person residing or working in the Gyeonggi region who is interested in the development of Northern Gyeonggi and is able to use social networking services (SNS), online communities, or blogs is eligible to apply. The application period runs from January 19 to February 1. Applicants can download the application form from the Gyeonggi Province website, complete it, and submit it via email.
The selected supporters will, from February to October, create and promote a variety of content related to the development of Northern Gyeonggi through online channels such as SNS, online communities, and blogs. They will also have opportunities to participate in discussions, forums, and other events related to the promotion of development policies for Northern Gyeonggi.
Supporters will receive a stipend based on their activities, and those recognized for outstanding contributions will be awarded certificates from the Governor of Gyeonggi Province and other benefits.

Kim Eunmi, Director of the Special Policy Division at Gyeonggi Province, stated, "The activities of the Northern Gyeonggi Youth Supporters are expected to play a crucial role in building consensus among residents and increasing interest in the need for the development of Northern Gyeonggi, which has lagged behind. We look forward to the active interest and participation of many young people."
