Gyeonggi Province Expands "Anyone Care" Program to 31 Cities and Counties

Gyeonggi Province's flagship welfare brand, "Anyone Care," will be expanded to all 31 cities and counties in the province.

"Anyone Care" is a Gyeonggi-style integrated care program that provides daily life-centered care services to residents in need, regardless of income or age. The eight major care services include daily living support, meal support, mobility support, housing safety support, temporary protection, psychological counseling, rehabilitation care, and home medical visits.

Gyeonggi Province plans to establish a stable, community-based integrated care system, including the "Anyone Care" program, in line with the implementation of the Care Integration Support Act scheduled for March.

The Care Integration Support Act, short for the "Act on Integrated Support for Community Care Including Medical and Nursing Services," is a system designed to bundle and provide necessary services to those in need of care, such as the elderly and people with disabilities, so they can receive support where they live.

Meanwhile, an analysis by Gyeonggi Province last year of 17,549 users (20,195 service cases) showed that single-person households accounted for 73% and residents aged 65 or older made up 74%.
