On January 17, at Inspire Entertainment Resort Arena in Jung-gu, Incheon Metropolitan City, President Shin delivered these remarks during the 2025 Comprehensive Performance Evaluation Conference, held under the theme 'Born to TOMORROW,' with 8,200 employees and their families in attendance.
The Comprehensive Performance Evaluation Conference is Shinhan Bank's flagship event, designed to encourage employees who gave their best at the frontlines over the past year and to reward branches and staff with outstanding achievements. Since 1984, the event has been held annually to share the strategic direction for the year and to reaffirm a new start toward the coming year together with all employees.
President Shin encouraged the staff, saying, "Over the past year, we have all done our utmost in our respective positions to become a bank trusted by customers." He further stressed, "We must uphold the value of our core business, which is to benefit the world through finance," adding, "Being recognized and chosen by customers through differentiated expertise is the very essence of Shinhan Bank's business."
Shinhan Bank organized a family program for employees' families (with a total of 1,400 participants), a food plaza, and performances by invited singers.
Meanwhile, for the first time at this event, the 'Shinhan Honors Volunteer Club' Outstanding Employee Awards were presented to institutionalize the management of voluntary service by employees and to foster a culture of volunteer participation. Jin Okdong, Chairman of Shinhan Financial Group, personally recognized two representatives among the outstanding employees, expressing his gratitude. In addition, the Grand Prize of the Comprehensive Performance Evaluation Conference, awarded to the branch with exceptional results, went to the Yeouido Central Financial Center.
