Fine Dust Levels "Bad" in Seoul and Southern Gyeonggi
Continued Dry Conditions Along the East Coast
On Sunday, the 18th, the central region is expected to be mostly clear, gradually becoming cloudy from the afternoon. The southern regions and Jeju Island will see partly cloudy skies at times. From nighttime, rain or snow is expected in the northern coastal areas of Gangwon and the northern mountainous regions.
Very dry weather will continue, especially along the east coast, so caution is advised to prevent fires.
Morning low temperatures are forecast to range from -7 to 5 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 4 and 15 degrees Celsius.
Fine dust concentrations are expected to be "bad" in Seoul and southern Gyeonggi, while other regions are forecast to be at "good" to "moderate" levels. Busan, Gyeongnam, and Jeju may temporarily reach "bad" levels in the early morning, and Sejong, Chungbuk, Daegu, and Gyeongbuk may see "bad" levels in the morning.
Wave heights are expected to be 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the East Sea coastal waters and 0.5 to 1.0 meters in the West and South Sea coastal waters. In offshore areas, waves are forecast to reach 1.0 to 2.5 meters in the East Sea and 0.5 to 2.0 meters in the West and South Seas.
