The send-off ceremony, held in the mayor's office before the athletes' departure, was organized to wish the two athletes success as they represent South Korea on the world stage, and to cheer for the sweat and effort they have put in so far.
The event was attended by Kim Minseon, Jeong Heedan, and other related officials. The city delivered words of encouragement to the athletes and expressed its support.

Meanwhile, the two athletes, who will depart on the 18th, are scheduled to compete in the fifth ISU World Cup event in Germany to maintain their competitive edge and accelerate their preparations for the Olympics.
