19 Companies and 41 Students Participate
Sharing Achievements of Industry-Tailored Practical Training

More than 100 people attended the performance report meeting, including Jeon Kyungran, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Dong-Eui University; Lee Cheolgyun, Dean of Student Affairs; Lee Jinkyung, Dean of the College of Engineering; professors and students from participating departments; Park Wondae, Head of Corporate Talent Innovation at the Busan Branch of the Human Resources Development Service of Korea; Jeon Jongseop, CEO of Yujin Metal; representatives from 15 companies; and officials from related organizations.
In 2025, Dong-Eui University achieved results in nurturing industry-tailored practical professionals, with 41 students and 19 local companies participating in the Work-Learning Dual System Project, combining university education with on-site corporate training. The event featured presentations on outstanding operational cases and an awards ceremony for participating companies and students.
The President’s Award for Best Learning Company was given to Yujin Metal and Solva Technology. In the learning worker category, Kim Kwonsu from the Department of Computer Engineering received the President’s Award.
Additionally, Lee Doohee from the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Song Youngbin from the Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering received the Busan Regional Director’s Award from the Human Resources Development Service of Korea. Jo Youngjin and Choi Sooyoung from the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering, and Je Byeonggu from the Department of Computer Engineering received the Dean of Student Affairs Award. The IPP Project Group Director’s Award went to Nam Yeonsik from the Department of Naval Architecture and Ocean Engineering; Byun Jimin from the Department of Mechanical Engineering; and Park Byeongmin, Lee Sangsu, and Choi Siwoo from the Department of Computer Engineering.
Lee Sangpil, Director of the Dong-Eui University Work-Learning Dual System Project Group, stated, "In 2026, we will further strengthen practical education focused on industrial sites to achieve employment outcomes that satisfy both students and companies. We will also continue to expand a variety of programs to support youth employment."
