On January 16, Anseong City in Gyeonggi Province announced that, starting this year, it will provide up to 100,000 won in enrollment preparation funds to infants and young children entering daycare centers for the first time.
The enrollment preparation fund can be used to purchase items needed for entering daycare centers and will be provided in Anseong Sarang Gift Certificates, the local currency.
Eligibility is limited to infants and young children who have been registered residents of Anseong City for at least six months as of the daycare center enrollment date.
To apply, guardians must visit the administrative welfare center in their town, township, or neighborhood within 12 months of daycare center enrollment, bringing receipts related to the enrollment preparation fund and personal identification.
