Through One-on-One Matching with Group Affiliates
Woori Financial Group announced that it held the launching ceremony for the "Dino Lab Seoul 7th Cohort" at the Dino Lab Gangnam Center in Gangnam, Seoul, on January 15.
Woori Financial Group's "Dino Lab (DINNOLab·Digital Innovation Lab)" is a program designed to discover and nurture startups with innovative technological capabilities across various fields, aiming to secure future growth engines and support productive finance.
The "Dino Lab Seoul 7th Cohort" ultimately selected seven companies: Design and Practice in the artificial intelligence (AI) fintech (finance + technology) sector; Mobawheel in mobility; BHSN in legal tech; Ames in insurtech; as well as Webearsoft, Inobat, and Fetching. Major group affiliates such as Woori Bank, Woori Card, Woori Financial Capital, Woori Investment & Securities, Woori Venture Partners, Tongyang Life, and ABL Life participated in the selection process, prioritizing business feasibility and investment potential in their evaluation.
More than 40 people attended the launching ceremony, including Ok Iljin, Executive Vice President and Head of Digital Innovation at Woori Financial Group, the CEOs of the selected startups, and representatives from group affiliates. Notably, during the second part of the event, a networking session allowed startup founders and group representatives to meet one-on-one and discuss concrete partnership opportunities.
Executive Vice President Ok Iljin stated, "This Dino Lab Seoul 7th Cohort consists of teams with an unprecedented combination of technological prowess and business potential. We will go beyond simple support and continue to create success stories of mutual growth between the group and participating startups."
