Citi AI Days Event Held
"Expanding AI Utilization in the Workplace"
Citibank Korea has announced that it will officially implement 'Citi AI,' the new platform introduced by Citigroup, across all areas of its work. To begin with, the bank held 'Citi AI Days' for two days from January 14 to 15, sharing specific examples of how employees can utilize artificial intelligence (AI) in their daily work.
Citi AI is a work-dedicated platform designed based on a 'human-centered AI' approach, in which artificial intelligence complements and supports the expertise and decision-making of employees.
Citibank Korea expects that, through Citi AI, it will be able to efficiently utilize the data and expertise accumulated across its global network, reduce the burden of repetitive tasks such as data analysis and document preparation, and allow employees to focus more on core work. Through this, the bank plans to systematically embed AI throughout customer support, employee capability enhancement, and overall business operations.

In addition, Citibank Korea is operating Citigroup's Citi AI Accelerator program to help establish AI utilization in work. Currently, 59 Citi AI Accelerators have been selected in Korea, receiving practical, work-centered training and application, and they play a role in enhancing the use of AI in actual work.
David Griffiths, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Citigroup, said, "The Agentic AI technology applied to Citi AI enables employees to work in a more advanced and connected manner," adding, "Through this, employees can break away from repetitive tasks and focus more on customers and business."
Youngsoon Yoo, CEO of Citibank Korea, stated, "With the introduction of Citi AI, employee work efficiency and information flow are improving, and collaboration and connectivity are being further strengthened," adding, "We will continue to drive digital innovation under responsible AI usage principles that comply with laws and regulations, and will reliably support the global competitiveness of our corporate clients."
