NP Accelerates Expansion into AI-Based Wellness Market with "MUA"

Integration of Space and XR Content

On January 16, NP announced its plan to accelerate the expansion of its artificial intelligence (AI)-based wellness business, centering on its emotion analysis extended reality (XR) meditation solution, "MUA."

NP aims to build an experiential mental care ecosystem that combines space and content, in line with the global digital mental care market's growth trend. Beyond its existing B2C (business-to-consumer) services, MUA plans to broaden its business scope to B2B (business-to-business) and B2G (business-to-government) markets targeting companies and institutions, thereby securing new growth momentum.

NP Accelerates Expansion into AI-Based Wellness Market with "MUA"

"MUA" is a digital mental care service designed to allow users to experience immersive meditation in an XR environment. Its key feature is the precise assessment of users' emotional states through emotion analysis AI and real-time biometric signal collection technology, enabling it to provide personalized meditation solutions. Users can monitor changes in their emotional state through data and systematically manage their mental health in daily life.

NP plans to unveil its new service, "MUA Home," at the world's largest mobile exhibition, Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will be held in Spain this March. MUA Home is a "space-integrated" product that incorporates emotional management solutions into everyday spaces such as offices or public facilities. Through a facial recognition mirror, biometric signals can be measured without the need for separate wearable devices. It also integrates Internet of Things (IoT) technologies such as air quality management sensors, air purifiers, smart diffusers, and energy management systems to automatically create an optimal recovery environment. Through this, NP aims to present the future of "everyday wellness combining space and technology."

NP explained that this growth strategy aligns with the government's next-generation economic growth roadmap. The government is fostering the bioindustry as a national strategic industry and is shifting the healthcare paradigm from "disease treatment" to "prevention and management" and "improving quality of life." NP is seeking to expand into various areas such as corporate welfare and industrial safety by utilizing accumulated emotion data in organizational emotional management and wellness program operations.
