Through this agreement, KT plans to supply the Taiwanese market with differentiated media services and device technologies, including AI-based smart home services, interactive voice recognition technology, AI-optimized UI/UX screens, and intelligent content recommendation.

The two companies will also work together to jointly develop the technologies and service models necessary for the transition to smart homes, leveraging KT's expertise in AI agents and AI media services.

They also plan to introduce an "all-in-one soundbar set-top box" equipped with Harman Kardon speakers and Dolby Atmos, supporting global online video services (OTT) such as Netflix, Disney+, and YouTube, to the Taiwanese market.

Additionally, KT will distribute its original content through Taiwanese content platforms such as MyVideo, and will pursue locally tailored content planning and joint marketing initiatives.

Chaehee Kim, Executive Vice President of KT Media Division, stated, "This collaboration will serve as an opportunity to strengthen the competitiveness of AI smart home and media services by combining KT's media and AI technology with KBRO's local platform capabilities. KT will continue to strive for global expansion in the telecommunications and media sectors based on AI technology."
