The purpose of this project is to repair and maintain common facilities in aging apartment complexes, thereby improving the convenience of residents and creating a more pleasant living environment.

The 'Support Project for Apartment Facility Improvement' provides funding for the maintenance and repair of common areas, including roads within the complex, security lights, water and sewage pipelines, and improvements to facilities for workers such as security staff. Each complex can receive support for up to 40 million won, covering up to 50% of the project cost. This is expected to significantly alleviate the financial burden associated with apartment management.

Last year, the city supported a total of 162 million won for 10 apartment complexes, achieving tangible results in improving aging facilities and enhancing the residential environment.

Eligible recipients are apartment complexes that were constructed in accordance with the 'Housing Act,' the 'Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act,' and the 'Building Act,' and have passed inspection at least 10 years ago. Applications can be submitted to the Apartment Housing Team of the Architecture Division at Donghae City Hall from January 19 to February 6.

Kim Heonsu, Head of the Architecture Division, stated, "Through the Support Project for Apartment Facility Improvement, we expect that the environment of aging apartments will be improved, leading to higher resident satisfaction. The city will do its utmost to ensure the smooth implementation of the project, and we will continue our efforts to create a pleasant residential environment in the future."
