Yongin City Offers Support for Energy Efficiency Improvements in Aging Homes... Applications Accepted Until February 20

This project involves renovating residential environments by replacing old windows and boilers in aging homes to improve insulation performance and reduce energy waste. Homes that are at least 15 years old and were built with a building permit are eligible for support. The program covers not only single-family homes but also multi-family, row, and multiplex houses.

The support includes construction work that directly enhances energy efficiency, such as replacing high-performance windows, reinforcing insulation, installing high-efficiency LED lighting, and replacing outdated boilers. The city will provide up to 10 million won per household, covering up to 50% of the construction costs.

The city will select eligible homes through a review by the Green Building Support Committee. Homeowners wishing to apply should check the announcement posted on the city website, prepare the application form and required documents, and submit them in person to the city’s Architecture Division.
