Through these improvement works, the city changed the lane configuration at Hagal Intersection and integrated the crossroads at Myeongji Intersection. At Jukjeon Intersection, the traffic island was modified to allow for safer use of the intersection.
The city is currently carrying out traffic system improvement projects that maximize the use of existing roads and organize surrounding available space, as well as improvement projects at locations with frequent traffic accidents. Previously, from July to September last year, the city improved the traffic systems at Kyunghee University Three-way Intersection, Musugyo Three-way Intersection, the entrance three-way intersection to the Gorim District, and Bosch Front Intersection.
A city official stated, "We will continue to improve sections with chronic congestion to ensure that citizens can use transportation safely and smoothly."
