Korea Exchange Chairman Jung Eunbo Joins "Youth Gambling Eradication Campaign"

Jung Eunbo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, participated in the relay challenge campaign to eradicate illegal cyber gambling among youth on the 15th.

The relay challenge to eradicate youth gambling is a campaign launched by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency in March 2024 to raise awareness about the dangers of illegal cyber gambling targeting young people and to prevent its spread.

The campaign involves taking a certification photo with the phrase, "Illegal cyber gambling targeting youth is an unwinnable scam crime," promoting it online, and nominating the next participant.

Nominated by Kang Younggoo, Chairman of the Korea Fire Protection Association, Chairman Jung Eunbo stated, "Illegal cyber gambling is an addictive crime that is difficult to stop once involved. Through this campaign, the Korea Exchange will help raise awareness about youth access to cyber gambling and create a healthy environment so that young people can grow up safely."

Chairman Jung then nominated Kim Sunghwan, CEO of Korea Investment & Securities, and Lee Seokki, CEO of Kyobo Securities, as the next participants in the relay campaign.
