This program, which has been implemented by the city since 2022, is a job competency enhancement initiative run in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor. It targets young people who face difficulties entering the labor market due to interruptions in their job search activities.

Last year, the city secured 927.84 million won in national funding out of a total budget of 1.05584 billion won, following a successful policy implementation as recognized in the government’s evaluation of operating agencies.

This year, the city plans to collaborate with various institutions, including local universities and welfare facilities, to provide a total of 208 young people with customized programs designed to boost their motivation for job searching.

Participants will have access to a variety of programs, including resume and interview consulting, speech training, company tours, mentoring by current professionals, health checkups, and cultural and leisure activities.

The program is divided into short-term (5 weeks), mid-term (15 weeks), and long-term (25 weeks) tracks. Each participant will receive a participation allowance ranging from 500,000 to 2,500,000 won. In addition, mid-term and long-term participants will receive incentives of up to 700,000 won and 1,000,000 won, respectively.

Those interested can apply online through the "Employment 24" website. Participants will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis until the end of the year. For more details, applicants can contact the operating agency, "Value Nuri," for guidance.

Lee Minguen, Mayor of Ansan, stated, "We will actively support young people so they can discover their potential and achieve stable independence."
