[Market Focus] Nomus Rises on Hopes for China Platform Launch: "Aiming for January Debut"

As of 10:26 a.m. on January 15, Nomus was trading at 24,950 won, up 2,400 won (10.64%) from the previous trading day.

Park Chansol, a research analyst at Hana Securities, stated, "Nomus is targeting a January launch for its platform in China. One key issue was enabling automatic monthly subscription payments, but before entering the Chinese market, the company resolved this by integrating WeChat Pay into the fromm Store."

He added, "While it is difficult to estimate the timing of K-Pop concerts in China, there are no issues with launching the online fan communication platform. If fromm China launches in January and demonstrates a faster pace of new subscriber acquisition compared to DearU, I expect the stock price to rebound."

He continued, "I believe Mango TV, Nomus's Chinese partner, has a strong commitment to nurturing a major Chinese entertainment platform, which could benefit Nomus. Nomus's own targets are also aggressive. If the confirmed number of new subscribers for the first quarter is released, market perception of Nomus could change significantly, so I recommend buying Nomus shares at this time."

In addition, there are heightened expectations for a North American tour. He explained, "With the BTS world tour schedule (including North America) now public, it has become easier for Nomus to coordinate its own North American tour schedule. I expect the scheduling for a single IP and the planned large-scale North American concerts to be completed soon."

He further noted, "Finalizing the concert schedule will not only improve the visibility of Nomus's earnings but also raise market expectations for Nomus's concert planning capabilities."
