On January 15, Daejeon City opened the third branch of "Kkumdori Walnut Cookies" at the Eunhaeng location, about a six-minute walk from Sung Sim Dang.

This third branch boasts a prime location that naturally attracts external tourists visiting Sung Sim Dang.

In particular, the third branch has been completely renovated with a bright lemon-colored exterior, transforming it into a space that captures the attention of younger generations. Going beyond a simple retail space, it maximizes customer inflow by adding visual appeal that encourages visitors to take photos and linger.

Inside the store, Kkumdori Walnut Cookie cakes are displayed to visually convey the product’s scalability and brand story, further strengthening its identity as a dessert shop. Through this, the space is designed to encourage visitors to naturally experience and share the products.

Daejeon City plans to develop Kkumdori Walnut Cookies into a must-visit attraction for Daejeon tourism, going beyond being just a local snack. By combining character content with tours of the old city center, the city aims to offer new experiences for tourists visiting Daejeon.

Lee Jangwoo, Mayor of Daejeon, stated, "Opening the third branch at a location where tourists visiting Sung Sim Dang can easily stop by is very meaningful," adding, "With its eye-catching exterior and enhanced visual elements, I hope Kkumdori Walnut Cookies becomes a must-visit spot on any trip to Daejeon."

Meanwhile, Kkumdori Walnut Cookies have proven their competitiveness as a character-based local snack, achieving sales of 280 million won in just five months since their launch in August last year.
