MyRealTrip Surpasses 3 Million Bookings for Flights, Accommodations, Tours, and Tickets Last Year

Expansion of Demand to Major Chinese Cities, Southeast Asian Resorts, and Regional Cities in Japan

MyRealTrip announced on January 15 that the total number of trips booked through its flight, accommodation, tour, and ticket services last year surpassed 3 million.

According to the '2025 Travel Trends' report released by MyRealTrip on this day, approximately 1 million flight bookings were made through the platform last year. The top destinations for air travel were Jeju, Fukuoka, Osaka, Tokyo, and Busan, with regions offering high accessibility and strong repeat demand serving as the main hubs for air travel.

Spending on experiences during travel also stood out. The tour and ticket segment recorded around 2 million uses, indicating a consumer trend toward enjoying a variety of experiences more conveniently at their destinations. Cities with a concentration of cultural and tourism content, such as Osaka, Tokyo, Paris, Taipei, and Fukuoka, showed strong performance.

In the accommodation segment, a total of 400,000 purchases were made, with the cumulative number of nights reaching approximately 800,000. Converted to time, this equates to about 2,191 years. The cities with the highest accommodation usage were Jeju, Incheon, Osaka, Seoul, and Paris, highlighting a clear preference for domestic hotel stays and urban accommodations.

In addition, Shanghai, Nagoya, Bali, Portugal, and Macau were cited as rapidly growing overseas destinations in 2025. There is a trend of demand dispersing to major Chinese cities, regional cities in Japan, Southeast Asian resort areas, and emerging European destinations, alongside the recovery of travel demand to key Chinese cities.

This year, MyRealTrip plans to enhance its service competitiveness by expanding collaboration with airlines and agencies and strengthening its lineup of accommodation products. In particular, the company will focus on its inbound business in response to increased demand for travel to Korea driven by the spread of K-culture, while improving products and the user environment for both domestic and international travelers.

A MyRealTrip representative stated, "2025 was a year when travel demand increased and spending on experiences during trips became more pronounced," adding, "This year, we will focus on further strengthening competitiveness across key categories such as flights, accommodations, and tours, and on expanding the inbound market as we strive to become a global travel platform."
