The book captures the transformation of Jeongdong Theater, originally established with the historical mission of restoring Wongaksa, Korea's first modern theater, into the National Jeongdong Theater-a cultural space where audiences can enjoy a trusted repertoire of outstanding works. It also recounts the history of the Cecil Theater, located next to Deoksugung Palace, as it became "National Jeongdong Theater Cecil," an affiliated venue that has established itself as a creative hub.

Notably, the publication features previously unreleased photographs and interviews with key figures, providing a multifaceted look at the cultural significance and social role of the National Jeongdong Theater. It also shares stories of how the theater has harmoniously advanced its founding mission of promoting performing arts and preserving and passing on traditional culture, collaborating with numerous creators and artists over the past 30 years to present a wide variety of performance programs to audiences.

Jung Sung-sook, CEO of the National Jeongdong Theater, stated, "The publication of this 30-year history will serve as a stepping stone for the National Jeongdong Theater to reflect on its past and prepare for new challenges ahead." She added, "Going forward, the National Jeongdong Theater will continue to fulfill its role as a cultural space that enriches people's lives through the advancement of traditional performing arts and a diverse range of performance genres." Jung also expressed her gratitude, saying, "I would like to thank the audiences, artists, and local communities for their trust in the National Jeongdong Theater over the past 30 years."

"30 Years of the National Jeongdong Theater: Jeongdong, Full Bloom" has been distributed to major libraries, including the National Library of Korea, as well as relevant institutions, and can be viewed in the history section of the Jeongdong Theater's website.
