Cumulative Funding of 12.2 Billion Won
Over 1,000 Projects Carried Out
On January 15, Wadiz announced the key crowdfunding results for local small businesses, prospective startups, and early-stage companies carried out throughout 2025 by its subsidiary Wadiz Impact, which is in charge of education and government projects.
Wadiz explained that over 1,000 projects led by local small businesses, prospective startups, and early-stage companies attracted 140,000 participants and achieved a cumulative funding amount of 12.2 billion won.
Wadiz has been operating the "Our Neighborhood Crowdfunding Support Project" in collaboration with the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small Enterprise and Market Service, supporting local small businesses in securing funding and expanding their sales channels. In 2025 alone, more than 400 small businesses participated in this project, achieving a total funding amount of 8.4 billion won, with over 93,000 supporters taking part in the projects.
In the "2025 Agri-food Crowdfunding Support Project" operated with the Agricultural Policy Insurance & Finance Service, 144 agri-food companies achieved a cumulative funding result of 2.3 billion won.
Support using Wadiz crowdfunding was also extended to the climate tech sector. In the "Gyeonggi Region Climate Tech Startup Crowdfunding Support Project," launched for the first time in 2025, about 100 companies applied, and 20 startups were ultimately selected based on technological capabilities, market potential, and social value. The selected companies received comprehensive support throughout the funding process, including offline fundraising education, detailed page production, customized advertising, and exposure in special exhibitions, resulting in approximately 200 million won in funding and participation from 2,200 supporters.
Choi Dongcheol, CEO of Wadiz Impact, stated, "We plan to continue expanding support so that local businesses and innovative startups can validate opportunities and grow in both domestic and international markets."
