Moa Life Plus Accelerates Global Sales Momentum with PGA Cosmetics Launch at Hyundai Duty Free

Moa Life Plus Accelerates Global Sales Momentum with PGA Cosmetics Launch at Hyundai Duty Free

On January 14, global beauty and health specialist company Moa Life Plus announced that it has signed a consignment contract with Bantiluxs for the supply of cosmetics and health functional food products to duty-free shops, marking a full-scale entry into targeting global consumers.

This entry into duty-free shops was achieved through a consignment sales agreement with Bantiluxs, a company specializing in duty-free and distribution. The market is paying attention to this structure, as it enables the generation of actual sales without the burden of inventory or increased fixed costs.

In particular, as the recovery of Chinese tourists and foreign visitors continues, traffic and purchase conversion rates in the duty-free channel are improving. Cosmetics and health functional foods are considered representative categories favored by Chinese consumers. Accordingly, the industry views this entry into Hyundai Duty Free as a tangible sales momentum directly linked to the recovery in tourist numbers.

Bantiluxs is a distribution specialist with a proven track record of successfully establishing multiple brands in duty-free and premium distribution channels, and is responsible for product curation and sales operations. Moa Life Plus has established a structure focused on product supply, leveraging its technological expertise and manufacturing competitiveness based on bio-derived ingredients.

Moa Life Plus plans to showcase its flagship brand, Doctors PGA Cosmetics, which is based on its patented PGA ingredient developed with proprietary technology, as well as health functional foods to duty-free customers. Building on the product quality and safety that have driven remarkable growth in both domestic and overseas markets, the company aims to expand its recognition as a K-beauty brand not only in Korea but also globally through duty-free distribution, which provides direct access to international consumers.

Notably, the four products in the Doctors PGA Water 5000x line recently received an "Excellent" grade in human application safety tests from Dermatest, a world-renowned dermatological testing institute in Germany, officially recognizing their safety as products with minimal skin irritation.

A Moa Life Plus representative stated, "This contract is an important opportunity to enter overseas markets through the strategic distribution channel of duty-free shops," adding, "Starting with the entry into Hyundai Duty Free, we plan to expand into not only major domestic duty-free shops but also global distribution channels."

Meanwhile, PGA (poly-gamma-glutamic acid), which has a moisture retention capacity up to 5,000 times its own weight and outstanding skin barrier enhancement effects, obtained the European natural cosmetics certification COSMOS last year. In particular, high molecular weight PGA (sodium polyglutamate) is currently used as a high-performance ingredient in premium European cosmetic brands, known for its excellent skin hydration and protective barrier-forming properties.
