According to the police and other sources on January 13, Rogers left the country immediately after the recent National Assembly hearing and is currently abroad.
The police have requested the Ministry of Justice to notify them upon Rogers' entry into Korea and plan to impose a travel ban if he returns.
The police are also coordinating with Rogers' side to schedule an appearance in mid-January.
The initial request for appearance was made on January 1. The police had requested that he appear on January 5. This measure was taken after Rogers had already left the country. He did not comply with the request.
The police recently issued a second request for Rogers to appear. Rogers has expressed his intention to comply.
At the time, Rogers did not respond to the first request to appear and did not submit a statement explaining his absence.
