In particular, the guide greatly enhances convenience by compiling previously scattered citizen benefits in one place. It also contains all the information needed by new residents moving to Yeongcheon, helping them settle in more smoothly.

The guide includes several new and expanded initiatives, such as a free vehicle rental program for families with multiple children, moving cost support for such families, rent support for public rental housing for youth and newlyweds, and a longevity congratulatory allowance for national merit recipients. It also features tourist attractions representing Yeongcheon, known as the "Yeongcheon 9 Scenic Spots," providing useful information for visitors.

Choi Kimoon, Mayor of Yeongcheon, stated, "The 'Smart Guide to Life in Yeongcheon' compiles all the essential population policies that every citizen should know so that no one misses out on the benefits they deserve. I hope this guide will bring greater satisfaction to citizens' lives and serve as a resource for improving quality of life."

Meanwhile, the "2026 Smart Guide to Life in Yeongcheon" will be available at township and neighborhood administrative welfare centers as well as major cultural and tourist facilities. It can also be accessed in the "Population Increase" section under "Information by Category" on the Yeongcheon City website.
