Strengthening Competencies in Designing Advanced Physical Therapy Models Based on Clinical Data

The Department of Physical Therapy at Dong-Eui University of Science announced on January 13 that it held the "3rd Meister Professional Technical Master's Program Clinical Case Project Presentation" on December 23.

This presentation focused on scientifically systematizing clinical field experiences and building a highly skilled physical therapy system that enables more precise patient management. Now in its third year, the event was organized to assess the clinical analysis capabilities and practical application skills of master's program students.

The master's students enhanced their expertise by analyzing clinical data according to advanced standards in the professional technical field and designing high-level physical therapy models that can be immediately applied in real-world settings. In particular, through the process of deriving scientifically optimized diagnostic and treatment systems tailored to each patient, they further strengthened their practical competencies.

This project went beyond simply reporting clinical cases, placing emphasis on presenting concrete improvement measures and development strategies to advance the clinical environment.

Heo Jongbin, class president of the third cohort of the Meister Professional Technical Master's Program, said, "While preparing for the project, I learned how to scientifically analyze and address the limitations encountered in the field with the guidance of my supervising professor. I was able to establish a precise evaluation and treatment system for patients, and sharing research achievements with my peers broadened my perspective."

Kwon Yujeong, head of the Department of Physical Therapy, commented, "This presentation was not only an opportunity for academic growth but also a venue to establish a scientific management system for patients and demonstrate practical competencies. It was a meaningful opportunity that showcased the high level of expertise the Meister Professional Technical Master's Program should aspire to."
