On January 12, KORAIL stated that it may add trains during peak commuting hours to minimize inconvenience for citizens and reduce traffic congestion.

If the strike takes place, the temporary commuter trains will operate a total of seven additional times during the morning rush hour across four lines: Gyeongbu Line (2 times), Gyeongin Line (2 times), Gyeongwon Line (2 times), and Gyeongui-Jungang Line (1 time).

Meanwhile, bus labor and management in Seoul are holding last-minute negotiations at the Seoul Regional Labor Relations Commission this afternoon.
