The selected participants will be active from March 2026 to December 2027, taking part in an inaugural ceremony, regular meetings and performance-sharing sessions, subcommittee meetings (at least once a month), identifying youth issues and proposing policies, as well as participating in and promoting youth-related events such as Youth Day. In particular, each subcommittee is expected to propose at least one policy per year, with the aim of conducting practical policy discussions tailored to the perspectives of youth.

Ryu Gyuhwa, Mayor of Jung-gu District, stated, "The Youth Policy Network is an important communication channel where young people participate not just as beneficiaries, but as key stakeholders in policy-making," adding, "We will actively support the incorporation of young people's diverse thoughts and ideas into district administration."

Meanwhile, through the operation of the 1st Youth Policy Network, Jung-gu has achieved meaningful results such as planning youth cultural events, running youth participation programs, and making policy proposals.
