[Market Feature] TS Trillion Surges as Subsidiary Wins 19 Billion Won AI Data Center Facility Contract

TS Trillion is showing strong performance. This is believed to be influenced by the news that its wholly owned subsidiary, BBR Company, has secured a contract to build core facilities for an AI data center worth 19 billion won (approximately 19 billion KRW).

As of 1:18 p.m. on January 12, TS Trillion is trading at 448 won, up 20.75% from the previous day.

On this day, TS Trillion announced that its wholly owned subsidiary, BBR Company, has won the contract for the construction of core facilities for an AI data center being established in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province. The contract is valued at approximately 18,958,800,000 won.

BBR Company will supply and install uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and large cooling equipment called Fan Wall Units (FWU) in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) sector, which is responsible for electricity, cooling, and overall facilities essential for data center operations.

These systems are products of VERTIV, a global data center infrastructure specialist, and play a crucial role in providing stable power supply and efficient cooling environments required for large-scale AI server operations.

This Ansan AI data center is a large-scale facility being constructed to meet the rapidly increasing demand for artificial intelligence (AI) and high-performance computing (HPC). AI servers consume more power and generate more heat than general servers, making stable power supply and high-efficiency cooling design key factors that determine data center performance.

TS Trillion stated that, through this project, it aims to evolve beyond simple equipment supply to become an integrated infrastructure solutions company that covers the entire process from planning and design to construction and operation. The company plans to secure differentiated competitiveness by reducing power loss and improving cooling efficiency in high-power, high-density server environments, thereby lowering data center operating costs.

While continuing to strengthen the competitiveness of its existing K-hair business, the company is accelerating its strategy to rapidly expand into new growth engines such as data centers and AI infrastructure, which are expected to have long-term growth potential.

TS Trillion plans to foster the AI data center MEP business as a core growth driver in the future. Its strategy is to establish standard models applicable to data centers of various sizes, based on AI-specialized facility technologies that combine redundant power design, uninterruptible systems, and fan wall, water cooling, and hybrid cooling methods.

In addition, the company intends to strengthen partnerships with global data center infrastructure firms, expand its business scope to include not only domestic hyperscale data centers but also overseas AI and cloud data center projects, and build a sustainable order pipeline.

Vice Chairman Park Juhun of TS Trillion said, "This Ansan project marks an important starting point for our full-scale entry into the AI data center business through our subsidiary, BBR Company," adding, "We will grow into an infrastructure specialist that combines both performance and economic efficiency for data centers, based on essential power and cooling technologies for the AI era."
