According to Yangpyeong County, Dumulmeori, along with the Jipyeong Makgeolli Brewery and Natural Garden 529, was featured in a special episode on Gyeonggi Province in the popular Taiwanese variety show "Zong Yi Wan Hun Dai," produced with the support of Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization. This has attracted significant interest from viewers across the Chinese-speaking world. Since its first broadcast on the 27th, the program has been spreading through TV and online channels, with the official YouTube channel surpassing 200,000 views.

"Zong Yi Wan Hun Dai" is a long-running variety show that consistently ranks among the top-rated programs in its time slot in Taiwan, and enjoys high recognition not only in Taiwan but also in China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, and other Chinese-speaking regions. To target the Chinese-speaking tourism market, Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization have supported the production of this program and are conducting large-scale overseas promotions focusing on major tourist destinations in the province.

Meanwhile, Dumulmeori in Yangsuri, Yangseo-myeon, was officially recognized on the international stage last October when it was selected as one of the "Best Tourism Villages 2025" by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism). UN Tourism evaluates villages around the world based on comprehensive criteria, including the preservation of natural and cultural heritage, community-based tourism, and the capacity to practice sustainable tourism, to select outstanding rural villages globally.

Dumulmeori, located at the confluence of the Namhan River and Bukhan River-the source of the Han River-has been selected for the "Top 100 Korean Tourist Destinations" for seven consecutive times, making it a premier tourist site in South Korea. The landscape, featuring a 400-year-old zelkova tree and traditional ferry dock scenery, continues to attract both domestic and international tourists and photographers. Recently, the potential for attracting more overseas visitors has also been increasing.

Yangpyeong County Mayor Jeon Jinseon stated, "With the overseas promotional support from Gyeonggi Province and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, Yangpyeong County's leading tourism assets are becoming widely known not only in the Chinese-speaking world but also on the international stage." He added, "Now that Dumulmeori has been selected as a Best Tourism Village by the United Nations Tourism Organization (UN Tourism), we will continue to develop Yangpyeong County into a world-class tourist city based on sustainable tourism."
