At the event, community activist Lee Yongju (former Chairperson of the Singa-dong Community Security Council), Jin Hyoryeong (former Head of the Singa-dong Volunteer Camp), Lee Namok (Principal of Wisdom School), and Kim Gwangran (former Gwangju City Council member), who have longstanding connections with Assemblywoman Lee, participated in a talk concert to share their experiences in the community and stories about politician Lee Gwisoon.

"Politics Learned in the Village" is not a theoretical book on politics, but rather a record of experiences accumulated through community activities. The book includes cases that started in the village and expanded throughout Gwangju, such as on-site experiences in redevelopment zones, identifying welfare blind spots, the controversy over Gwangju Metro Line 2, establishing fiscal principles for Gwangju City, and future experimental models in Gwangsan-gu.

Assemblywoman Lee Gwisoon said, "I hope that politics that begins in the village will serve as the foundation for fostering resident self-governance," and added, "I will continue to pursue community politics that moves forward together."
