CNET, an official partner of CES, collaborates with the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) of the United States to evaluate products exhibited at CES 2026, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition, with more than 40 tech experts to select the award winners. Specifically, winners are chosen based on criteria such as presenting new concepts, addressing major consumer issues, and setting standards for performance and quality. A total of 63 winners are selected across 22 categories, with only one product named as the Best Overall Winner.
CNET described the Galaxy Z Tripfold as "a true hybrid product that combines a full-size tablet and a smartphone in a slim form factor, featuring an eye-catching design and practicality." The outlet further added, "This is the result of Samsung Electronics' efforts to create a more refined foldable phone, advancing mobile technology."
In the 'Best TV or Home Theater' category, Samsung Electronics' premium OLED TV lineup, the S95H, was recognized. CNET highlighted that the S95H lineup is 35% brighter than its predecessor. This product is the first Samsung OLED TV to feature burn-in prevention technology, allowing users to view static images for extended periods. Additionally, it supports a 'zero gap wall mount,' enabling the TV to be installed flush against the wall.
In the 'Best Home Audio' category, Samsung's 'Music Studio 5' received the award. Music Studio 5 was designed by French furniture designer Erwan Bouroullec, who also designed Samsung Electronics' lifestyle TV, The Serif.
Meanwhile, Samsung Electronics also won a total of 27 CES Innovation Awards organized by the Consumer Technology Association, including 12 for video displays, 4 for home appliances, 3 for mobile, 7 for semiconductors, and 1 for Harman.
