To be eligible, applicants must be members of a homeless household registered as residents of Uijeongbu City as of December 22, 2025, the date of the recruitment announcement.
Priority 1 includes: ▲ recipients of livelihood or medical benefits ▲ single-parent families under protection ▲ lower-income households (including those receiving housing or educational benefits) whose rent-to-income ratio is 30% or higher ▲ persons with disabilities whose household's average monthly income in the previous year was 70% or less of the average for urban workers ▲ lower-income households aged 65 or older (including those receiving housing or educational benefits). Priority 2 includes: ▲ households whose average monthly income in the previous year was 50% or less of the average for urban workers, or persons with disabilities whose household income was 100% or less ▲ national merit recipients recommended by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs.
The lease period is two years, and tenants may renew their contract for additional two-year periods after the initial term. Priority 1 tenants may renew an unlimited number of times, while Priority 2 tenants may renew up to 14 times.
