Popular Features Now Standard, Price Increase Minimized
Graphite Edition Offers Optimized Driving and Braking Performance
Genesis announced on January 12 that it will launch the model year change versions of its luxury sports sedans, the '2026 G70' and '2026 G70 Shooting Brake,' along with a new edition, the 'G70 Graphite Edition.'
The company has enhanced product competitiveness by making the Comfort Package-which previously included optional features such as a head-up display, driver’s seat position memory system, intelligent driver’s seat, passenger lumbar support, and power-adjustable steering wheel-standard equipment. Additionally, all rear badging except for the 'Genesis' lettering has been removed from the vehicle’s rear, creating a clean and modern rear design.
The G70 Graphite Edition, which emphasizes a sportier feel, is available exclusively with the gasoline 3.3 turbo powertrain. It offers optimized driving and braking performance, along with a wide array of dedicated sports interior and exterior features and convenience options. The ride height has been lowered by 10 mm to create a more dynamic appearance and a lower center of gravity, which improves body responsiveness and driving stability. Brake pad performance has also been enhanced for improved braking response.
Exterior features include: high-gloss black side mirrors, 19-inch dark sputtering wheels, and Brembo black-painted monoblock 4-piston brakes. The interior features a sports-specific Nappa leather seat, headlining and pillar trim in suede, all part of the edition-exclusive Sports Design Selection, further accentuating its dynamic image.
In addition, the edition comes standard with intelligent headlamps, a 12.3-inch 3D cluster, edition-exclusive electronically controlled suspension for a sporty driving feel, smart power trunk, Genesis Digital Key 2 Touch, front-seat wireless smartphone charging, surround view monitor, blind spot monitor, built-in dashcam with auxiliary battery, and a Lexicon 15-speaker sound system, greatly enhancing convenience.
The G70 Graphite Edition is available in five exterior colors, including the exclusive Ceres Blue, as well as Batna Gray, Beak Black, Burly Blue, and Makalu Gray Matte. Interior color options include Obsidian Black and Ultra Marine Blue two-tone.
The G70 is priced at 44.38 million won for the gasoline 2.5 turbo (2WD, based on 3.5% individual consumption tax), 49.25 million won for the gasoline 3.3 turbo, and the 2026 G70 Shooting Brake gasoline 2.5 turbo is 46.33 million won. The G70 Graphite Edition with gasoline 3.3 turbo is priced at 58.86 million won.
A Genesis representative stated, "For the 2026 G70, we have enhanced product competitiveness by making a variety of popular features standard, while minimizing the price increase to improve customer accessibility. With the model year change G70 featuring outstanding product value and the new G70 Graphite Edition that further emphasizes sporty appeal, customers will be able to experience a truly differentiated G70."
