Yellow Balloon announced on January 12 that it has launched Runtrip (Run+Trip) airtel and package products, including participation in the 'Gold Coast Marathon 2026,' which will be held in Gold Coast, Australia in July.

The Gold Coast Marathon is a world-renowned international marathon event held every early July during the pleasant winter season in the Southern Hemisphere. Thanks to its flat course and stable climate conditions, it is regarded as the marathon best optimized for achieving new personal best (PB) records. The course, which passes through iconic Gold Coast attractions such as Surfers Paradise and Broadbeach along the coastline, is also considered one of the most beautiful marathons in the world.

This Yellow Balloon Runtrip product is designed to allow participants to enjoy both the marathon and travel simultaneously. Runners can choose from airtel products focused on flexible itineraries to guided package tours, depending on their preferences. The event will feature a half marathon (21.0975km) and a 10km race on July 4, and a full marathon (42.195km) on July 5, with eligibility determined by age criteria.

The flagship product, the 'Gold Coast Marathon 6-Day Airtel,' departs from Incheon on July 2 and arrives in Brisbane, after which participants can join the event with a flexible schedule. This option is ideal for customers who value both running and relaxation. In addition, 5-day, 6-day, and 7-day package tours are also available, all including round-trip flights with either Korean Air or Jetstar Airways and accommodation for the entire stay.

For package tours, participants can enjoy guided visits to major attractions in Gold Coast and Brisbane, such as Tropical Fruit World, Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, Point Danger Lookout, and Burleigh Head National Park. At Tropical Fruit World, guests can experience tasting tropical fruits such as mango, mangosteen, and avocado firsthand.

All products include registration agency service for the Gold Coast Marathon 2026, round-trip direct flights, hotel accommodation for the entire stay, and travel insurance.
