On January 11, 2026, at approximately 4:33 p.m., a series of collisions involving 12 passenger vehicles occurred on the Jungbu Inland Expressway toward Yangpyeong, in Changnyeong-eup, Changnyeong County, South Gyeongsang Province.
As a result of the accident, one person sustained minor injuries, but the injuries were not serious enough to require hospital transport.
The police believe the accident was caused by drivers' failure to pay attention to the road ahead and are investigating the exact circumstances.
