According to the Jeju Fire Safety Headquarters, a total of 17 incidents were reported from the previous day until 5:00 p.m. on January 11 due to strong winds and heavy snow. At 10:17 p.m. the previous day, a report was received that a fence had fallen at a construction site in Yeon-dong, Jeju City. At 8:43 a.m. on January 11, a report came in that a roof panel was blown off at a restaurant in Hallim-eup, Jeju City, prompting the fire authorities to take safety measures.
At 1:29 a.m., a passenger car skidded on a snowy road in Pyoseon-myeon, Seogwipo City, resulting in one passenger being injured and transported to the hospital. At 9:28 a.m., a four-car collision occurred on a snowy road in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo City. At 1:13 p.m., another four-car collision took place on a snowy road in Andeok-myeon, Seogwipo City.
