"If We" Surpasses 1 Million Viewers in 12 Days After Release

On the Verge of Breaking Even

"If We" Surpasses 1 Million Viewers in 12 Days After Release Movie still cut from "If We Were"

The film "If We Were" has surpassed the milestone of 1 million viewers just 12 days after its release. This is a significant achievement amid fierce competition from major Hollywood blockbusters.

According to the integrated computer network for box office admissions operated by the Korean Film Council on January 11, the film, which premiered on December 31, surpassed a cumulative audience of 1 million as of this afternoon. After debuting in second place on its opening day, overtaking "Zootopia 2," it demonstrated its strength by rising to the top of the box office on the seventh day, surpassing even "Avatar: The Fire and the Ashes." With a steady influx of moviegoers, the film is now on the verge of breaking even.

"If We Were" is a romance film that tells the story of former lovers who reunite after 10 years apart. The realistic chemistry between Koo Kyohwan and Moon Gayoung has generated positive word-of-mouth, bringing warmth to theaters this winter season.
