Exhibition of Innovation Award-Winning Products from Otiton Medical and Two Other Companies
Geumcheon District in Seoul (Mayor Yuseong Hoon) announced on January 11 that seven companies based in the G-Valley area of Geumcheon District participated in CES 2026, the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition, held in Las Vegas, USA, from January 6 to 9.

The participating companies included Otiton Medical Co., Ltd., Safeway Co., Ltd., and Geowind Co., Ltd., all of which received CES Innovation Awards, as well as Gashian (DEFI) Co., Ltd., IlaasAI Co., Ltd., Sudi Developers Co., Ltd., and MHS Co., Ltd., totaling seven companies.
The district established the Geumcheon G-Valley Pavilion in the Startup Exhibition Hall, which requires approval from the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), the organizer of CES, in order to participate. This initiative supported local small and medium-sized enterprises in taking part in CES.
Notably, in the ‘Innovation Award Showcase,’ where only products that have won CES Innovation Awards are exhibited, products from Geumcheon District companies were on display, including Otiton Medical’s smart thermometer, Safeway’s mobility device for overcoming level differences, and Geowind’s regular icosahedron wind turbine.
A company representative stated, “With the district’s support, startups were able to stand on a stage that would have been difficult to reach on their own,” adding, “We will not let this opportunity end as a one-time experience, but use it as a starting point to establish ourselves and expand in the global market.”
Mayor Yuseong Hoon of Geumcheon District said, “I hope that participating in CES will serve as an opportunity for Geumcheon District companies to gain global recognition for their technology and expand into international markets. I also expect that strengthening export competitiveness and the resulting corporate growth will lead to job creation and, ultimately, contribute to the recovery of the local economy.”
Meanwhile, the district is implementing a support program for group participation in overseas exhibitions, targeting local small and medium-sized enterprises struggling to enter international markets. The program provides comprehensive assistance, not only covering participation costs but also offering pre-consulting, training for exhibition preparation, promotion and marketing, and post-exhibition performance management, including contract signing. Last year, eight Geumcheon District companies participating in CES achieved around 160 contracts, amounting to approximately 5.2 billion won.
The district is also helping small and medium-sized enterprises with excellent products but limited access to overseas market information to develop export channels through the ‘G-Valley Export Consultation Meeting.’
