A performance sharing event was held to help young people enhance their job competitiveness and strengthen their practical skills through field-oriented work experience.

On January 9 at 2 p.m., the Daejeon Design Promotion Agency hosted the "2025 Youth Work Experience Support Project Performance Sharing Event" at Commons Field Daejeon, sharing the results of practical projects carried out jointly by young participants and local companies.

This event was organized for participating youth to present the outcomes of their eight-week practical projects and share their achievements. About 70 people attended, including youth participants, representatives from participating companies, mentors, and evaluators.

The Daejeon Design Promotion Agency was selected as the project-based operating institution for the second half of the year and ran eight-week company-linked practical projects for 52 local youths.

The participating youths worked in teams to carry out real-world tasks in advertising, marketing, and design, experiencing the entire process from planning and execution to delivering final results.

The advertising and marketing job-focused program was operated in collaboration with the Daejeon Tourism Organization and the Daejeon Tourism Association under the theme "Youth Participation in Daejeon Local Tourism." Participating youths worked on assignments such as planning tourism content and developing tourism courses to revitalize local tourism.

The general design job program focused on practical design tasks related to branding and UX/UI, as proposed by local companies.

During the event, a total of 13 teams presented their project processes and key outcomes. The completeness and feasibility of the results, as well as collaboration achievements, were comprehensively evaluated, and one team each was awarded the Grand Prize, Excellence Award, and Merit Award.

Lee Changki, President of the Daejeon Design Promotion Agency, stated, "Through this performance sharing event, we have confirmed the achievements of the region-based youth work experience model," and added, "We will continue to enhance youth job competitiveness and foster practical talent that meets corporate demand by providing field-oriented work experience."

This event is expected to serve as a catalyst for expanding field-oriented programs that strengthen the practical skills of young people.
