Sangmyung University and MUN Dental Hospital Establish Cooperative System for Community Coexistence

Joint Promotion of Social Contribution and Youth Support
Through Collaboration Between Healthcare and Education

Sangmyung University and MUN Dental Hospital, operated by the Hana Medical Foundation, have agreed to collaborate for community development, social contribution, and youth support.

On January 9, Sangmyung University signed an exchange and cooperation agreement for regional development with MUN Dental Hospital at the Hana Cultural Center on the 13th floor of the hospital.

Under this agreement, both institutions will jointly participate in community development and social service activities, and will promote collaborative projects to raise awareness of dental medical services and improve public health.

Established in 1995, MUN Dental Hospital of the Hana Medical Foundation is a medical institution that has consistently provided specialized dental care along with ongoing community service activities.

Additionally, through the Blue Moon Dream Foundation, the hospital has operated career and dream support programs for local adolescents and youth.

Sangmyung University, with campuses in Seoul and Cheonan, is expanding students' options through a highly flexible academic system and is focusing on cultivating practical talent in connection with the local community.

The university also received the highest 'Excellent' rating in the evaluation of its University Job Plus Center operations and was recognized by the government for its capabilities in employment and career support, including receiving the Minister of Employment and Labor Award for its contributions to promoting youth employment.

Kim Jonghee, President of Sangmyung University, stated, "We will concentrate the university's capabilities to achieve our shared goals of social contribution and community development together with MUN Dental Hospital, which has been practicing sharing in the local community."

Moon Eunsu, Chief Director of MUN Dental Hospital, said, "MUN Dental Hospital and the Blue Moon Dream Foundation will work together with Sangmyung University not only to contribute to the local community but also to strengthen the global competencies of young people," adding, "We will also faithfully fulfill our role as a health partner for Sangmyung University students and staff."
