Picking Up Trash and Performing CPR... Baemin Releases Video Showcasing 'Exemplary Riders' Stories

Released on Baemin Connect YouTube
Four Cases of Exemplary and Good Deeds Selected

Woowa Brothers, the company responsible for the logistics services of Baemin (Baedal Minjok), announced on January 9 that last year they released video content on the Baemin Connect YouTube channel featuring stories of Baemin riders who practiced exemplary behavior and good deeds.

The released video focuses on cases of riders who performed acts of kindness at various delivery sites. It also includes heartfelt messages of gratitude from Baemin customers and employees, expressing thanks with the phrase "Thanks to the rider," adding an emotional touch.

Last year, a total of four cases were selected as representative examples of exemplary and good deeds by riders. First, a rider who became a topic of conversation after picking up trash found on the road during a delivery was introduced. While waiting at a traffic signal in cold weather, the rider quickly removed a large piece of trash from the middle of the road, preventing a potential traffic accident.

The second case featured a rider who, in May last year, obeyed the stop line at a red light in a children's protection zone during a delivery. The rider stated, "I thought it was important to follow traffic signals and regulations during deliveries so that children's routes to and from school could be a little safer."

The third selected case was a rider who performed CPR. In March last year, this rider discovered a man in his 60s collapsed on a road in Dongnae District, Busan, and immediately provided emergency aid. Notably, during the evening rush hour on the congested streets of Busan, the rider helped clear the way for an ambulance, enabling the patient to be transported to the hospital quickly.

The final case introduced two outstanding members of the Road Safety Citizens' Inspection Team who donated to an orphanage using their prize money and voluntary contributions. The two riders personally selected and delivered essential daily necessities and educational supplies needed by the orphanage, and also prepared snack boxes for the children.

Woowa Brothers plans to recognize three riders selected for their exemplary and good deeds at the "Baemin Rider Festa," which will be held on January 15 at the Baemin Rider School in Hanam, Gyeonggi Province.

A representative from Woowa Brothers stated, "We selected exemplary riders to widely share their stories of setting a positive example and performing good deeds in the field, and to help foster a positive delivery culture. We will continue to do our best, together with our rider partners, to create a healthy delivery culture and a better delivery environment."
