On January 9, hy announced a voluntary recall of its 'Helicobacter Project Will Sugar Balance' product.

The recall applies to products with a consumption deadline of January 21, 2026. The affected lot numbers are: BCAb, BCBb, BCCa, BDAb, BDBb, and BDCa.

hy decided to recall the product immediately after its internal quality inspection detected the presence of Escherichia coli. Production of the product has been halted, and recall measures are currently underway.

A representative from hy stated, "We apologize for the inconvenience and concern caused to our customers. We have already collected more than 99% of the affected products and will focus all company resources on preventing recurrence."

Customers who purchased the affected product can receive guidance through their nearest sales outlet or the hy customer service center.
