The Korea Credit Guarantee Fund has begun the process of selecting its next chairman.
On January 9, the executive recommendation committee of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund announced the recruitment notice for the next chairman. Applications will be accepted until 6 p.m. on January 20. The chairman is appointed by the President upon the recommendation of the Financial Services Commission, following the committee's nomination. The term of office is three years.
Although the term of Chairman Choi Wonmok expired in August of last year, he has continued his duties as a successor has not yet been appointed. The new chairman is expected to be appointed next month.
