Singer Kim Heungkuk expressed his bitterness as he read malicious comments directed at him on YouTube.

On December 29, a video titled "I Cried Reading Malicious Comments" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "Kim Heungkuk Deulidae TV." In the video, Kim Heungkuk explained that while there are people who support him, there are also negative reactions such as, "Why are you trying to return to broadcasting?"

Kim Heungkuk proceeded to read several comments himself and provided explanations. In response to a comment saying, "How did you become a singer when you can't even sing?" he mentioned his past band activities and debut process, and replied, "I want to meet the person who posted this in person. 'Are you good at singing yourself?'"

To the criticism that he "can't play soccer," he countered, "I started learning soccer at the age of 11. I played as an athlete," and added, "I was strictly coached by my coach at Hwage Elementary School, and I've been playing for over 50 years now."

When a comment questioned his military service, saying, "He doesn't even seem to be a Marine," Kim Heungkuk refuted it by mentioning the specific date. He said, "On April 2, 1980, I took a train from Yongsan Station to Jinhae. I was in the 401st class of the Marine Corps," and added, "I also served as a Marine Corps ambassador. I love the Marines and will be a Marine until I die." In response to a comment calling him "the disgrace of the Marines," he said, "There are over one million Marines who like me," and laughed it off by saying, "I don't think I'm a disgrace. It would be better to call me the pride of the Marines."

To a malicious comment calling him a "disgusting person," he said, "I've never heard anything like this in my life. It really makes me want to throw up," but added, "Anyway, I'll accept it. I'll try to be more careful in my own way."

At the end of the video, Kim Heungkuk pledged to see the world in the right way, saying, "Please give me lots of love. Kim Heungkuk is not dead. I will live my life to the fullest."

Kim Heungkuk has previously been embroiled in controversy due to his political remarks and actions, but he recently ended his political activities and announced his intention to focus on his entertainment career. On January 26, he will release his new song, "Life Goes On Even If You Turn Away."
