The Daejeon Agricultural Technology Center is accepting applications for the "2026 New Technology Dissemination Pilot Project" until January 30, aiming to strengthen the competitiveness of local farms and increase farm income.

This New Technology Dissemination Pilot Project has a total budget of 529.4 million won and will be implemented across 18 projects in 9 sectors: 3 projects in the livestock sector, 3 in the vegetable sector, 3 in the fruit sector, 1 in the floriculture sector, 3 in the rural resources sector, 1 in the urban agriculture sector, 1 in the young farmers sector, 1 in the new farmers sector, and 2 in the agricultural development fund sector.

Eligible applicants are farmers or farmer organizations registered as agricultural business entities whose residence and planned project location are within Daejeon Metropolitan City, and who meet the specific qualifications for each project.

Applications can be submitted in person at the Agricultural Technology Center or local agricultural counseling offices, or online through the integrated subsidy platforms (e-Naradoum, Botem-e). Detailed information, including project-specific details and application forms, can be found on the Daejeon Agricultural Technology Center website.

Meanwhile, duplicate applications for multiple projects are not allowed. For submitted projects, on-site inspections of the planned project locations and reviews by the Agricultural Industry-Academia Collaboration Council will be conducted in February, after which the final recipients will be selected.

Lee Hyosuk, Director of the Agricultural Technology Center, stated, "This New Technology Dissemination Pilot Project focuses on agricultural technologies that can be immediately applied in the field, with the goal of improving productivity and ensuring management stability. We will actively support the dissemination of customized technologies for each sector, such as livestock, horticulture, and urban agriculture, as well as the development of young and new farmers, so that the results of these projects can be widely spread throughout the field."
