This meeting was organized to discuss local issues and development directions with residents and to directly reflect various opinions in municipal administration. More than 90 people attended, including the Mayor of Pocheon, members of the Pocheon City Council, members of the Gyeonggi Provincial Council, senior city officials, heads of key local institutions and organizations in each township, and village leaders.

The meeting began with an overview of the city's administrative direction, followed by explanations of major issues by township, a report on the progress of residents' suggestions over the past four years, presentations on key priority projects, and a session for listening to residents' suggestions and providing on-site responses. Department heads attended in person to explain concrete action plans and future strategies in response to residents' questions.

Residents of Sinbuk-myeon proposed expanding support for agricultural product delivery fees, establishing additional senior citizen centers, extending bus routes, expediting the reconstruction of the old Sinbuk Bridge, expanding parking at the Sinbuk Sports and Culture Center, and installing sidewalks and sewage systems, all aimed at improving the living environment and residential conditions through the expansion of essential social infrastructure.

Residents of Yeongjung-myeon presented various opinions reflecting local characteristics, including the early commencement of the 38 Peace Park project, expanding odor reduction facilities to address odor issues, implementing measures to prevent environmental pollution caused by excessive pesticide use at golf courses, promoting river maintenance projects to prevent flooding, establishing a public bathhouse in Yeongjung-myeon, resolving complaints related to the Rodriguez Yeongpyeong Shooting Range, extending the 38 Historical Experience Trail, installing sidewalks, and developing tourism resources in Yeongjung-myeon.

A Pocheon City official stated, "It was a meaningful time to hear directly from residents about the inconveniences they experience in daily life and their hopes for local development, and to seek solutions together. We will thoroughly review the suggestions through the relevant departments and actively reflect them in city administration, and we will do our best to resolve urgent issues as quickly as possible."

Pocheon City plans to continue on-site, communication-focused administration by visiting towns and villages throughout the city, and to further strengthen resident-centered governance through customized policies that reflect the conditions and needs of each region.
