Korean Air has been holding the "Love Rice" donation event for 23 consecutive years since 2004. By purchasing "Gyeongbokgung Rice," a specialty product of Gangseo-gu, Seoul, where its headquarters is located, the company contributes to revitalizing the local economy. The total amount of rice donated so far amounts to 104 tons. In addition, Korean Air practices sharing management by engaging in a variety of social contribution activities both domestically and internationally, such as charity performances in partnership with the local community and overseas volunteer work to improve poor educational environments.
A Korean Air official stated, "As the world's most beloved global airline, we will continue to strengthen our ties with the local community and provide ongoing support to neighbors in need through diverse social contribution activities."
