"Donation for Every Kim Hyesung Hit and Stolen Base"... Kyowon Group and Green Umbrella Support Youth Baseball

Donations of Affiliate Products for Every Home Run, Hit, and Stolen Base

Kyowon Group is partnering with Major League Baseball player Kim Hyesung and Green Umbrella to launch social contribution activities aimed at fostering youth talent in baseball and the arts and physical education.

On the previous day, Kyowon Group announced that it held a signing ceremony at its headquarters in Euljiro, Jung-gu, Seoul, and entered into a three-party social contribution agreement with Kim Hyesung and Green Umbrella to promote this initiative.

This agreement was established to channel the growth and achievements of both corporations and individuals into social value, supporting the dreams of young people. The collaboration was made possible as Kim Hyesung resonated with the purpose of helping youth with potential not to give up on their dreams due to environmental constraints.

According to the agreement, during the 2026 Major League Baseball season starting in March, Kyowon Group will accumulate donations of products from its affiliates each time Kim Hyesung records a home run, hit, or stolen base. If he achieves 50 hits and 50 stolen bases, up to 150 million won worth of donated goods will be raised. These goods will be used to support aspiring youth baseball players through Green Umbrella at the end of the season.

In addition, Kyowon Group will donate 30 million won to the 'i-LEADER' campaign, an initiative run by Green Umbrella to support talented youth in the arts and physical education. This donation will be used to provide educational and training support for young talent in fields including youth baseball.

Kyowon Group and Kim Hyesung plan to continue seeking additional ways to collaborate on social contribution initiatives to support aspiring youth baseball players, building on this agreement.
