Contract Signed with Prestigious Baseball School "Kyoto International Middle and High School"
School Uniform Supply to Begin in March
Plans to Expand into Sportswear Sector in the Future
Hyungji Elite's student uniform brand, Elite School Uniform, announced on January 9 that it has signed a school uniform supply contract with Kyoto International Middle and High School, becoming the first Korean school uniform company to enter the Japanese market.
On January 8, Hyungji Elite held a signing ceremony for the school uniform supply contract at Kyoto International Middle and High School, attended by representatives from both sides.

Under this contract, starting from the new school year in March, Elite School Uniform will be supplied to all students at Kyoto International Middle and High School. Kyoto International High School gained national attention in 2024 by winning Japan’s most prestigious National High School Baseball Championship, known as Koshien, and is renowned as a top baseball school.
The school explained that it highly valued Elite School Uniform's products for their excellent materials, functionality, and mobility.
Notably, this marks the first time a Korean-style casual school uniform is being introduced to the Japanese school uniform market, which has traditionally favored classic styles. Until now, students at Kyoto International Middle and High School had individually purchased and worn their own outerwear, but the introduction of a casual school uniform lineup is expected to strengthen students’ sense of belonging.
Hyungji Elite plans to gradually expand its product lineup in the future. Just as it has pursued a premium strategy targeting international and specialized schools in the Chinese market, the company intends to actively increase its market share in Japan as well.
Building on this contract, Hyungji Elite is also preparing to expand into sportswear fields such as gym clothes and sports uniforms. The company plans to accelerate business expansion step by step by leveraging its expertise in sportswear and uniform production.
A Hyungji Elite representative stated, "It is significant that, based on the design expertise and quality competitiveness we have built in the Korean and Chinese markets, we have become the first domestic school uniform brand to enter the conservative Japanese school uniform market. Starting with this contract with Kyoto International Middle and High School, we will promote K-school uniforms and continue to build differentiated competitiveness in the global market."
