Wonju City Reviews 2025 Pledge Implementation... Completion Rate at 92.4%

122 Out of 132 Pledges Fulfilled
Completion Rate Up 20.8% Compared to Previous Year

According to an assessment by Wonju City, Gangwon Province, as of the end of 2025, 122 out of a total of 132 pledges made during the 8th popularly elected administration have been fulfilled, resulting in a completion rate of 92.4%.

Over the past year, 21 additional pledges were completed, raising the completion rate by 15.9% compared to the end of the previous year.


Major projects completed in 2025 include support for public postpartum care expenses, the construction of a parking lot at Musam Park, the development of Seomgang Sports Park, installation of night lighting towers at the futsal stadium, construction of an indoor tennis stadium, and the establishment of a Taekwondo professional team for people with disabilities.


By category, the completion rates for the pledges were 77% in the economic sector, 96% in the safety and civil affairs sector, and 69% in the health sector, while all pledges in the culture and equality sector were completed.


A Wonju City official stated, "We will regularly review and release the status of pledge implementation to enhance administrative transparency and reliability," adding, "We will continue to manage the remaining tasks to ensure they are carried out as planned."
